Minor rejig in Odisha cadre IAS

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government today effected a minor reshuffle in Indian Administrative Service (IAS) cadre.

As per the notification, 1994 batch officer Ranjana Chopra has been appointed as the new Director General of Gopabandhu Academy of Administration. Besides, Dr Krishan Kumar has been made the new Commissioner-cum-Secretary in Cooperation department.

The 2002 batch officer who is currently also in charge Vice Chairman of Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) and Managing Director Smart City Ltd has been given additional charge as special secretary in Agriculture and Farmers Empowerment department.
