The Odisha government on Thursday effected a minor reshuffle in the top bureaucracy.
According to a General Administration (GA) department notification, 2000 batch IAS officer Akhila Bihari Ota has been appointed as Director, State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT). He will also hold additional charge as Director, Scheduled Castes & Scheduled Tribes Research and Training Institute (SCSTRTI).
2000 batch IAS officer and director, Tourism Ashok Kumar Tarenia has been posted as commissioner, Consolidation and Settlement, Cuttack, while 2001 batch IAS officer Sangram Kesari Ray will take charge as commissioner, Consolidation, Bhubaneswar.
In a reshuffle in the Indian Forest Service (IFS) cadre, 2001 batch officer G Rajesh has been promoted to the Conservator rank while 2001 batch officer Manoj V Nair has been given proforma promotion, the notification added.
