Minor reshuffle in Odisha IPS cadre

The Odisha government today effect a minor reshuffle in the senior IPS cadre.

According to a Home department notification, Amitabh Thakur has been posted as DIG, Southern Range while Susant Kumar Nath will take charge as IG (Provisioning).

Besides, Asish Singh has been posted as SP, Deogarh, the notification said.

According to sources, 2002 batch IPS officer and Baleswar SP S Praveen Kumar will leave the state soon to join the National Police Academy (NPA).
