Miscreants attack father-son duo with sword in Odisha capital

Bhubaneswar: A person and his son sustained critical injuries after allegedly being attacked by miscreants with sword at Bharatpur in Odisha capital, today.

According to reports, four bike-borne miscreants attacked the victims when the latter were present at their shop. The wrongdoers also vandalised the shop before fleeing the spot. The reason behind the attack is yet to be ascertained.

The father-son duo has been admitted to the Capital Hospital here for treatment. Khandagiri police have started investigation into the incident. Efforts were on to identify and trace the assailants, a police official said.
