Miscreants critically injure girl by slitting throat in Odisha

Khordha, Feb 7:
In a shocking incident, unidentified miscreants today attacked a young girl and slit her throat in broad daylight near Kiajhari on Khordha-Malipada road, reports said.

The young girl, who sustained grievous injuries in the attack, has been shifted to a hospital in Bhubaneswar, reports added.
The young girl was attacked while she was walking back to her home. The miscreants after attacking the victim fled the spot.
While the reason behind the murderous assault is yet to be ascertained, police have begun investigating the case.
