Miscreants hurl bomb, hack youth in Odisha’s Puri

Puri: A group of miscreants allegedly hurled crude bomb and hacked a youth leaving him critically injured at Kakudia village under Pipili police limits in Odisha’s Puri district, last night.

According to reports, the victim, identified as Ajay, was opposing brown sugar peddling in the area and the attack was a fallout of the incident. The accused hurled bombs at his house and attacked him with sharp weapons.

Ajay was grieviously injured in the attack and has been admitted to the Capital Hospital here for treatment.

Pipili police have started investigation into the matter.
