Miscreants loot hotelier at gunpoint in Odisha capital

Bhubaneswar: Miscreants allegedly looted gold chain and Rs 50,000 from a hotelier at gunpoint near Rasulgarh Square in Odisha capital late last night.

According to reports, Bulu Samantaray, the victim, was returning home last night when four bike-borne miscreants who had covered their faces intercepted him at Pala Mandap Chhak near Rasulgarh Square and threatened him showing gun.

They attacked him with sharp weapons and looted the valuable and cash from his possession. Samantaray sustained critical injuries in the attack and has been admitted to a private hospital for treatment.

Mancheswar police have started investigation into the loot incident.
