Miscreants loot Rs 10 lakh from petrol pump owner in Odisha

Puri: In a broad daylight heist, two unidentified bike-borne miscreants this morning looted Rs 10 lakh from a petrol pump owner in Puri district of Odisha.

The robbery has been captured in the CCTV camera installed at the petrol pump.

According to reports, around at 10 am today Rasananda Sahoo, owner of Bharat Petrol Pump located on Nimapada-Pipili road, had stashed Rs 10 lakh in his bike dickey to deposit in bank.

When he went inside his cabin parking the bike in front of the filling station, a youth suddenly rushed to his bike, broke its dickey and fled the spot with the money with another youth waiting for him on a bike.

Nimapada police arrived at the spot on being informed about the loot and started probe seizing the CCTV footage.
