Miscreants loot Rs 15 lakh at gunpoint in Odisha’s Khordha

Khordha: Unidentified miscreants allegedly looted Rs 15 lakh from two staff of a petrol pump at gunpoint on NH-16 near OCC Chhak in Odisha’s Khordha district today.

According to reports, two employees of a petrol pump were intercepted by three bike-borne miscreants at OCC Chhak around 12.30 PM while the duo was on their way to Khordha town to deposit Rs 15 lakh in bank.

The robbers threatened the two at gunpoint and snatched away the bag containing the cash. The wrongdoers soon fled the spot after committing the crime.

On being informed, police reached the spot and started investigation. Efforts were on to trace and nab the looters.
