Miscreants loot Rs 2 lakh, 400 gm gold at knifepoint in Odisha

Puri: Armed miscreants allegedly looted Rs 2 lakh , 400 grams of gold ornaments and 7 kg silver ornaments from a house at knifepoint at Bharatipatna village under Balanga police limits in Odisha’s Puri district, last night.

According to reports, five robbers barged into the house of Purna Chandra Senapati in the village and threatened the family members at knifepoint. Later, they decamped with the cash and valuables.
