Miscreants loot Rs 3 lakh from businessman in Odisha capital

Bhubaneswar: Unidentified miscreants allegedly looted Rs 3 lakh from a businessman at Rajmahal Square in Odisha capital today.

The victim, identified as Damodar Mohapatra, had reportedly come to the city from Muniguda in Rayagada district with his two associates for buying a car.

While two of them were sitting inside a four-wheeler, one had gone inside the car showroom. In the meantime, the looters deceived the duo by saying that oil was leaking from the engine of the vehicle.

As the two came out of the four-wheeler, the robbers decamped with the cash present inside the vehicle.
