Unidentified miscreants allegedly looted Rs 40 lakh from Bhatli branch of Bank of Baroda in Odisha's Bargarh district last night.

According to reports, the robbers entered into the bank by smashing window and decamped with Rs 40 lakh after breaking the strong room.
The bank manager has lodged a complaint with Bargarh Town police in this regard. Police recahed the spot with a scientific team and started investigation.
Sources said, the bank was shifted to a different location three days ago. However, the strong room was yet to be relocated.
The bank authorities didn't inform the police about the shifting of the bank, sources added.
