Unidentified miscreants looted valuables from a couple at gun point near Salabhanga in Odisha's Nayagarh district early this morning.

According to reports, the incident took place at around 5.30 am when the duo was on the way to Bhubaneswar from Phulbani in a car. Four miscreants intercepted the vehicle on NH-57 near Salabhanga and threatened the couple at gun point. They snatched away gold chain, mobile phones and cash from the couple and fled the spot.

A complaint was lodged at Daspalla police station by the couple, sources said.
