Miscreants ransack Congress Bhawan in Odisha capital

Some unidentified miscreants allegedly ransacked Congress Bhawan in Odisha capital last night.

Flower vases and window glasses at the Congress Bhawan have reportedly been damaged by the miscreants.

They have also broken the CCTV cameras installed at the party’s state headquarters, sources said.

Worth mentioning, the Youth Congress was scheduled to protest AICC Odisha in-charge BK Hariprasad’s visit to the Congress Bhawan yesterday. However, no such incident took place.

It may be recalled here that angry over non-representation of AICC at the funeral of senior Congress leader Lalatendu Bidyadhar Mohapatra, some of the National Students Union of India (NSUI) activists on November 9 forced their entry into a Bhubaneswar based hotel where AICC General Secretary BK Hariprasad, AICC deputy Odisha in-charge Subhankar Sarkar and PCC President Prasad Harichandan were holding a meeting.
