Koraput: Compressor explosion at a factory of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) at Sunabeda in Odisha's Koraput killed a staffer today, informed Sunabeda SDPO Niranjan Behera.

The deceased, identified as Sudam Mohanty, was working at the factory when a compressor exploded injuring him grievously. He had reportedly sustained 90 percent burn injuries in the mishap.

Mohanty was admitted to the HAL Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
