Missing minor girl gang raped, murdered in Odisha

Cuttack: In a major breakthrough in a missing case of a minor girl, the victim was brutally killed after gang rape and later the body was buried at Kundagaon in the district.

A team of police and forensic experts will visit Kundagaon today to recover the body.

The minor girl was missing from Sudasailo village in Cuttack district since Feb 11.

During course of investigation, police arrested three youths, who confessed to their heinous crime.

Reports said that the victim was gang raped after abduction on Feb 11. She was killed and then buried in the ground by the accused. Police got the clue about murder during interrogation after arresting the three, who were suspects in the missing case lodged by the victim’s family.
