Bhubaneswar: Bringing more cheer for commuters of Twin Cities of Cuttack and Bhubaneswar, the Capital Region Urban Transport (CRUT) has started 'Mo Bus' service between CDA to Biju Patnaik International Airport here.

The first bus service on this 37 km-long Route-10 was launched on December 25.

The bus service that starts at 7 AM would be available at the two starting points at Biju Patnaik International Airport and Biju Patnaik Park in CDA, till 8 PM and 8.20 PM, respectively. Currently, there are 28 buses, including 19 AC and 9 non-AC for the route.

The bus has stoppages at Capital Hospital Square, AG Square, Bhubaneswar Club, Heads of the Departments (Naatala), Power House Square, Kalinga Stadium, Jayadev Vihar Square, Kalinga Hospital Square, Patia Square, Infocity Square, Shikharchandi, KIIT Square, Nandankanan Biological Park, Barang, Trisulia Square, Judicial Academy, CDA-6 Park, CDA-9 Market Square, Justice Square and Biju Patnaik Park.

CRUT General Manager (Personnel and Administration) Dipti Mahapatro said, “The bus service would help connect people of the two historic cities. Two more routes will soon be introduced to connect Cuttack and Bhubaneswar through NH-16. While Route-16 will connect Master Canteen Terminal with Biju Patnaik Park in CDA, Route-16 (A) will connect between Master Canteen Terminal and Barabati Stadium.’’

Worth mentioning, total 163 new buses has so far been plying under the recently-launched ‘Mo Bus’ service by CRUT and the service is available through 12 routes.
