Mobile phone battery explosion injures 3 children in Odisha

Sonepur: Battery of a mobile phone exploded leaving three children injured at Adakasa village under Dunguripali block of Odisha’s Sonepur district today.

The victims, identified as Hemanta Ghusuri, Chintu Ghusuri and Akash Ghusuri, were admitted to Dunguripali hospital for treatment.

The mishap took place when the trio was playing with the battery and it blasted. While condition of Akash and Chintu is stated to be stable, Hemant has sustained grievious injuries on his hands and legs.
