Modi, Shah to visit Odisha again for 4th phase poll campaign

Bhubaneswar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah will visit Odisha again to campaign for the BJP candidates for the 4th phase of elections scheduled on June 1.

As per the schedule, Amit Shah will visit Odisha on May 28 and will attend three public meetings on May 29, informed Odisha BJP vice president Golak Mohapatra today.

Shah is scheduled to address a public rally at 10 AM in Chandbali. Later, he will attend public meetings in Korei and Nimapara.

PM Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Odisha on May 29. During his one-day trip, he will address a mega rally at 12 PM at Chhau Ground in Baripada. Later in the day, he will campaign in Balasore and Kendrapara for the party, Mohapatra said.

This apart, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma is scheduled to visit Odisha again for two days starting May 27 to intensify the campaign for the party candidates. As per the schedule, he will attend public rallies in Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Kakatpur on May 27 and in Rairangpur, Morada, Soro and Jagatsinghpur on May 28. Along with him, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will campaign in Balasore, Bhadrak, Jagatsinghpur and Kendrapara from May 27 to 30. Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw will hit the election trail on May 27 and 28 in Kendrapara and Bhadrak.
