Bhubaneswar: Mohan Majhi bowed down as he entered the Lok Seva Bhawan for the first time as the Chief Minister of Odisha.

The CM bowed down on his knees before entering the Lok Seva Bhawan as a mark of paying his respect to the executive body of the state government.

Deputy Chief Minister KV Singh Deo, Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja, and other senior officials were present.

The Deputy CM and other cabinet ministers welcomed the CM to the Chief Minister's Office. He entered his office with hymns chanted by eight priests at the building. He will sit in the same chamber where former CM Naveen Patnaik used to sit on the 3rd floor of the Lok Seva Bhawan.

Since June 12 after taking oath as the Chief Minister, Majhi had been working at the State Guest House for a temporary period.
