Monsoon bids farewell to Odisha; low pressure likely to trigger rain from Oct 10

Bhubaneswar: Southwest monsoon has withdrawn from entire Odisha, a bulletin of the Regional Meteorological Centre said today.

However, a low pressure area is likely to form over south Bay of Bengal and neighborhood around October 8. The system is likely to become more marked and move towards Odisha and adjoining north Andhra Pradesh coasts during the subsequent 72 hours, the bulletin said.

Under its influence, enhance rainfall activity is likely to occur in Odisha from October 10, the bulletin added.
