Bhubaneswar: The Southwest Monsoon has covered entire Odisha, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said today.

"The Southwest Monsoon has further advanced into remaining parts of Odisha and thus covered entire Odisha today," the agency said.

On the other hand, it has issued heavy rainfall warning for many districts of the state at least till June 27.

Below is day-wise forecast in connection with the heavy rainfall.

June 23: Heavy to very heavy rainfall (7 to 20cm) very likely to occur at isolated places over the districts of Khordha, Puri, Ganjam, Jagatsinghpur and Cuttack.

Heavy rainfall (7 to 11cm) very likely to occur at isolated places over the districts of Bhadrak, Kendrapada, Jajpur, Dhenkanal, Nayagarh, Boudh, Kandhamal, Gajapati, Rayagada, Kalahandi, Malkangiri, Koraput and Nawarangpur.

June 24: Heavy to Very Heavy Rainfall (7 to 20cm) very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Cuttack, Jajpur, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj.

Heavy Rainfall (7 to 11cm) very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Kendrapada, Jagatsinghpur, Khordha, Puri, Nayagarh, Angul, Kandhamal, Boudh, Sonepur, Sambalpur, Deogarh and Sundargarh.

June 25: Heavy to Very Heavy Rainfall (7 to 20cm) very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Keonjhar, Sundargarh, Deogarh, Angul, Boudh, Sambalpur, Sonepur, Bargarh and Jharsuguda.

Heavy Rainfall (7 to 11cm) very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Mayurbhanj, Jajpur, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Bolangir, Nuapada and Nayagarh.

June 26: Heavy to Very Heavy Rainfall (7 to 20cm) very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Angul, Sambalpur, Sonepur, Boudh, Bargarh, Bolangir and Kalahandi.

Heavy Rainfall (7 to 11cm) very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Deogarh, Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri, Nawarangpur and Nuapada.

June 27: Heavy Rainfall (7 to 11cm) very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Nawarangpur, Nuapada, Bolangir, Bargarh, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Sundargarh and Keonjhar.
