More rains predicted across 9 districts !

The Met department has predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall in the Gajapati, Ganjam,Koraput,Rayagada,Nayagarh,Puri, Khurda, Jagatsinghpur and Cuttack districts during next 24 hours under the impact of the movement of the low pressure area from Telengana and neighbourhood to North Coastal Andhra Pradesh and its neighbourhood.

The latest Met bulletin also suggests the rain would be accompanied by surface wind of 30 to 40 kmph and gusting to 50 kmph along and off the Odisha Coast and that the sea condition would be moderate to rough.Fishermen have been advised to exercise caution before venturing into the sea.
