Bhubaneswar: With the Coronavirus spreading its wings fast in second wave of the pandemic, more number of students and employees from the Odisha University of Agriculture & Technology (OUAT) and Rama Devi Women's University have tested positive for COVID-19 here.
On Tuesday, one female student of Rama Devi Women's University had tested positive for the deadly virus. A day after, three more students have been infected with the virus.
Earlier, a lecturer of the varsity had tested COVID-19 positive.
Similarly, four more including two students of OUAT have contracted the infection. Also, one employee and one professor of the premier agricultural institute have been found with COVID-19 positive.
Following detection of the cases, the varsities have been sanitized as part of precautionary measures to prevent further spread of the infections.
