More trains passing through Odisha cancelled & rescheduled for Cyclone Gulab

Bhubaneswar: In view of Cyclone Gulab, more trains originating and passing through Odisha have been canceled, diverted and rescheduled.

While six more trains were cancelled, 16 trains were diverted, and eight trains were rescheduled for the cyclone, East Coast Railway (ECoR) said in a release today.

Yesterday, the East Coast Railway had cancelled 24 trains under its jurisdiction in view of Cyclone Gulab.

Worth mentioning that cyclonic storm Gulab over Bay of Bengal is likely to hit between south Odisha and north Andhra Pradesh coasts on Sunday midnight. Keeping eventualities in mind, the ECoR decided to cancel and divert more trains passing through Odisha as part of precautionary measures.
