Morning classes in Odisha schools from April 2. Here’s why

Bhubaneswar: In view of possible heat wave during scorching summer, the State authorities decided to conduct the classes in the morning from April 2 in all the schools across Odisha.

The School & Mass Education department directed both government and private school authorities to begin morning classes from April 2.

As per the order, the morning classes will start from 6.30 am till 10.30 am on the working days. The summer vacation will be from May 6.

While the welcome ceremony will be held in schools on April 2, the new academic session will begin on the following day i.e April 3.
