Bhubaneswar: Mothers Public School is going to organize a walkathon on May 1st to create awareness about 'water conservation' and proper use of drinking water. It is a walkathon in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals to create a healthier and more inclusive world. A group-driven initiative to which the school is sincerely committed is to make a profound impact on people from all walks of life.
The staff and students of Mothers Public School are going to participate in this walkathon of 3 km which will start from its Unit-1 campus at 6.05 am on Wednesday morning. Traffic ACP Jayant Kumar Dora is going to launch this walkathon by showing the flag. More than 2000 walkers are going to participate in the walkathon to create awareness among the public about the need for water conservation.
In this regard, Chairperson and Principal Polly Patnaik said, "Education is a human-centered profession and teachers are our greatest asset." Educators' health and well-being has multiple dimensions such as physical, emotional, psychological, financial and social. Mothers Public School prioritizes the establishment of health and well-being for educators to meet challenges and maintain a positive mindset.
Director of Management Minty Sabat said, "Time is running out on our planet! Climate change can no longer be ignored or postponed. It has become a reality today! Each of us is responsible for reducing our carbon footprint. Speak up and get others to take action. This is the fastest and most effective way to bring about change.
