Motorcycle hits man in Odisha’s Nabarangpur, 2 killed

Nabarangpur: A motorcycle hit a person killing him and the driver of the two-wheeler on NH-26 at Gadakhai Chhak under Papadahandi block in Odisha’s Nabarangpur district today.

According to reports, Ghana Marigan (55) of Charigaon village under Dabugaon block was heading towards his son’s house in Gopiguda village around 3 pm while Trilochan Nayak (21) of Kenduguda village in Maidalpur panchayat was travelling on a bike.

The vehicle hit Marigan at Gadakhai Chhak, as a result of which he and Trilochan sustained critical injuries and died on the spot.

On being informed about the mishap, police reached the place, recovered the bodies and sent those to the district headquarters hospital for post-mortem.
