Moving car catches fire in Odisha, narrow escape for occupants

Puri, Apr 1:
A moving car caught fire on NH 316 near Samajajpur Bridge in Puri district of Odisha this afternoon. However, no casualty was reported as the occupants succeeded in coming out of the car.

According to reports, the engine of the car caught fire near Samajajpur Bridge while it was heading towards Puri and flames engulfed the vehicle in no time.
However, the driver managed to stop the car, following which a major tragedy was averted and occupants came out of it safely.
Fire tenders rushed the spot and doused the fire.
Chandanpur police reached the spot being informed about the incident and started probe.
