Moving truck catches fire; driver, helper narrowly escaped

Keonjhar: The driver and helper of a truck had a narrow escape after the moving vehicle caught fire on NH-49 near Jhadabelada under Sadar police limits in the district today.

However, the vehicle has been completely damaged in the fire.
Sources said the truck loaded with cement caught fire due to a short circuit in the battery. The driver and the helper immediately got off the truck.The fire later engulfed the entire truck.

On receiving information, police fire brigade officials rushed to the spot and doused the flames.
