Multi specialty health camp organised by KOST & OPTCL

A multi specialty health camp was organized jointy by Kadambini Orthopaedic and Spine Trust (KOST), New Delhi and Odisha Power Transmission Corporation Ltd. (OPTCL) on Monday at Power Hospital here under the medical supervision and leadership of Dr Shankar Acharya, noted Spine-Ortho Surgeon of Sir Ganga Ram Hospital and Founder of KOST.

Leading specialists representing neurosurgery, cardiology, gyaenic, paediatric and general medicine provided medical consultation and advice to as many as 460 patients, who included the employees, their family members and public at large.

Besides, the patients availed of the benefit of free diagnostic tests like Bone Marrow Density, ECG, Blood test etc followed by distribution of free medicine to the needy people. OPTCL/GRIDCO officers/staff led by SK Rath, Director-HR, OPTCL and Dr SK Dash, Medical Officer, Power Hospital provided the infrastructure facilities and administrative support to take the CSR initiatives forward.

A newsletter highlighting the preventive aspects of spine and Ortho disorders/deformities was released on the occasion by the Chief Guest PK Acharya and BC Pal.
