Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today directed not to price entry tickets of museums in the state more than Rs 10 per person.
This apart, entry of students, weavers and artisans into the museums will be free of cost, the CM announced.
Patnaik directed the concerned officials to take steps towards popularizing the museums of the state and giving tourists opportunity to visit them.
State Museum, Kala Bhoomi and Tribal Museum in Bhubaneswar and Odisha State Maritime Museum in Cuttack are among the major museums in the state.
The fresh announcement is likely to make them popular and attract more footfalls in the coming days.
