Must watch: Breathtaking beauty of western Odisha captured in moving lens!

Bhubaneswar: The western part of Odisha is a place of breathtaking flora and fauna with meandering rivers and spectacular waterfalls, apart from architectural marvels such as temples.

Odisha Tourism has released a video, the first of a series that captures the beauty of western Odisha and is aimed at promoting tourism in the region.

“The theme of the video is ‘Dream to Reality’ and therefore, it juxtaposes the art on a canvas with the actuality of the region,” said Eureka Apta, the maker of this television commercial.

Eureka and his team at Digital Sketch Films travelled extensively in Sambalpur, Balangir, Bargarh, to name a few, for 10 days covering almost 200-odd kilometres every day to reach each location and capture the perfect shot. “We were unfamiliar with the routes and would end up going in circles; once we got lost and ended up in a Maoist-infested area! The district collectors and my production manager Siddhart Koupala came to our rescue,” reminisced Eureka.

According to the Facebook update of Odisha Toursim, a shorter version of it will be telecast on national and international television channels.
