Bhubaneswar: MVIRDC World Trade Centre Mumbai, promoter of World Trade Centre Bhubaneswar donated Rs 51 lakh to Odisha Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) towards the restoration and relief work for those affected by Cyclone Fani.

Vijay Kalantri, Vice Chairman of WTC Mumbai accompanied by Dr Y R Warerkar (Director General), Rupa Naik (Senior Director), Nimeshika Natarajan (Asst Director) and Asha Mohapatra (Asst Manager) handed over the cheque to Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and also briefed him about activities of World Trade Centre & their presence in the International trade arena and their constant endeavours in promoting bilateral trade.

Vijay Kalantri applauded the State Government commitment to zero casualties and expressed how Team WTC Mumbai wanted to make a contribution to strengthening the Government’s restoration work. Kalantri said that with support of Naveen Patnaik, we shall soon have World Trade Centre Bhubaneswar
which is active since five years in the smart city of Odisha. Dr Y R Warerkar said that there are 330 World Trade Centres in more than 100 countries with headquarters in New York. Setting up World Trade Centre in Bhubaneswar shall bridge the gap between business community from Odisha and overseas.
