Naga Panchami is the Hindu festival to worship the snakes. It is celebrated on the fifth day in shukla paksha in the month of Shravan.

Panchami Tithi Begins: August 02, 2022 5:13 AM.

Panchami Tithi Ends: August 03, 2022 5:42 AM.

Rituals: Married women visit the house of their parents for the ritual of the festival. They wake up early in the morning, take bath and offer puja to ant hills where snakes live.

Cobra or idols of cobra are worshipped on this day. Milk is offered to the snakes on this occasion.
