Nabarangpur: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who hit the campaign trail for twin elections in Odisha, promised to make Puri Jagannath shrine 'Bhavya' if the BJP comes to power in Odisha.

Addressing Vijay Sankalp Samavesh held at Chikili Chhak in Papadahandi area of Odisha's Nabarangpur district today, the BJP's star campaigner guaranteed inclusive development of the Jagannath Temple in Puri like Ayodhya Ram Temple.

"Like Modi created Kashi Viswanath corridor, the way we are making Ayodhya Ram Temple 'Bhavya', Modi will make Jagannath shrine 'Bhavya'. This is Modi's guarantee," Modi promised people during his second public rally in Odisha.

He assured people that the BJP government if voted to power in Odisha will bring development in the state.

"On June 4, the BJD government will make an exit and the BJP to form in Odisha. I am here to invite you all to the oath ceremony on June 10 in Bhubaneswar where a new CM from the party will take charge. For the first time, there will be a double-engine government in Odisha. We will choose someone from the state for the post of Chief Minister who loves Odisha people, its language, culture and has close connection with people. The double-engine government can take the state to a new height," Modi said.

He said that the BJP has released its Sankalp Patra for Odisha yesterday in which the party has promised to launch 'Subhadra' scheme that will change the life of women in Odisha.

He assured that all the guarantees made by the BJP will be implemented once the party is voted to power in Odisha.
