Narrow escape for rider as scooter catches fire in Odisha (Watch Video)

Bhubaneswar: A rider had a narrow escape when his scooter caught fire on Nabarangpur-Jeypore road in Odisha today.

The incident took place when the rider, a resident of Keuta Sahi in Nabarangpur, was travelling to Jeypore in Koraput district in the afternoon.

On being informed, the Fire Brigade personnel reached the spot and doused the flames.

“The scooter might have caught fire due to a short circuit. The vehicle was completely gutted in the mishap,” said Fire Brigade official.
