Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today held one-to-one discussions with industry leaders of 19 different business houses during the second day of Make in Odisha conclave seeking investment for the state.

Talking to reporters after the meeting, the Chief Minister expressed happiness with the response received at this maiden investment summit in the state.

“The event will go a long way in carrying forward the brand Odisha as a land of new opportunities. Industry leaders have displayed their commitment and support for the industrial growth of Odisha which will lead to massive employment opportunities for the state's youth,” said Patnaik.

According to a press notification issued by the Chief Minister’s office, the meetings which lasted for more than two hours included Satish Pai of Aditya Birla Group, Goutam Adani of Adani Group, Arundhati Bhattacharya of State Bank of India, Anil Agarwal of Vedanta Resources Plc, Sanjay Mehrotra of SanDisk, Saroj Kumar Podar of Adventz Group, Navneet Bhagat of Fortunex, Kishna P Maheswari, Kamal Maheswari, Rajamani Krishnamurthy and Prashan Choudhury of Essel Group.

Several companies led by CII Chairman Naushad Forbes also met Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.
