Bhubaneswar: Biju Janata Dal (BJD) Supremo and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is certainly playing the game of politics meticulously to give a check to opposition BJP and Congress in the upcoming 2019 polls with a new strategy.
With a number of leaders from Western Odisha are visiting Patnaik at Naveen Niwas ahead of the release of candidates' list for the 2019 polls, the party chief stated that he may work on the proposal from the leaders.
"The leaders of western Odisha, the farmers, the women and the students have requested me to stand from western Odisha. I am considering it very seriously," Patnaik told reporters here today.
Notably, both the BJP and Congress are eying to win maximum seats from the western Odisha to come to the power in the State.
Naveen's new game plan may surely mar the opposition parties' mission in the 2019 elections.
