Neelachal Hospital’s expansion proposal gets Odisha govt’s nod

Bhubaneswar, June 26:

The Odisha government today gave  No Objection Certificate (NOC) to the Bhubaneswar-based Neelachal hospital’s  plan to  expand its capacity to a 300-bedded medical facility.

Neelachal Hospitals Pvt Ltd, which has set up a multi-specialty hospital with the state-of-the-art technology in the capital city, has only 50 beds at present,

However, the government has put certain conditions that include free treatment to 20% OPD patients and 10% of IPD patients belonging to BPL category.

The government has also said that the General Administration department will provide two acres of land required for the proposed expansion of  the hospital, subject to its availability.
