Neeraj Chopra, Pramod Bhagat among 11 athletes nominated for Khel Ratna

Bhubaneswar: Tokyo Olympics Gold medallist Neeraj Chopra, Paralympics Gold medallist Pramod Bhagat and nine other athletes have been nominated to receive Khel Ratna award for the year 2021.

Wrestler Ravi Dahiya who won silver at the Tokyo Olympics has also been picked for Khel Ratna.

A total of five para-athletes have been nominated to get Khel Ratna for 2021.

PR Sreejesh (Hockey), Lovlina Borgohai (Boxing), Sunil Chhetri (Football), Mithali Raj (Cricket), Sumit Antil (Javelin), Avani Lekhara (Shooting), Krishna Nagar (Badminton) and M Narwal (Shooting) were the other athletes picked for the prestigious Khel Ratna award.

Cricketer Shikhar Dhawan among the 35 sportsperson have been selected to receive Arjuna award.
