NEET 2020: This main market in Bhubaneswar to remain closed on Sept 13

Bhubaneswar: As part of the measures to control crowd  in front of exam centres for National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) 2020 on September 13, the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) today ordered closure of Unit-I market here on the day.

In a letter to presidents of various vendors’ associations, the BMC said to avoid public congregation in front of an exam centre at Mother’s Public School at Unit-I amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, the entire Unit-I Haat (both wholesale and retail) will be closed on the day.

The BMC asked them to intimate all members to adhere to the instruction scrupulously without fail.

Worth mentioning, the exam will be held at 31 centres in the state capital from 11 AM to 5 PM. Over 15,000 students will appear in national-level entrance exam  here.
