Bhubaneswar: Result of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET)- 2020 will be announced today. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will publish the result on its official website ntaneet.nic.in at around 4 PM today.
Students, who had appeared in the medical entrance , are advised to check their score at the website by submitting their roll number and other details.
In Odisha, a total of 32,833 candidates had turned up for the national-level entrance test conducted amidst COVID-19 pandemic on September 13. Though 37,198 aspirants had registered with the NTA to appear in the exam, 4365 remained absent.
The exam was conducted with COVID-19 protocol at 83 examination centres in seven cities/towns across the state-Angul, Berhampur, Bhubaneswar, Balasore, Cuttack, Rourkela and Sambalpur.
In the entire country, over 14.37 lakh candidates had appeared in the exam in 13 languages, including Odia.
Here's how to check NEET 2020 result:
Step 1: Visit the official website – ntaneet.nic.in
Step 2: Click on the link ‘NEET (UG) – 2020 Result’
Step 3: Enter required details-registration number and roll number and click on 'submit'
Step 4: Your result will be displayed on the screen
Step 5: Download it and take a print-out for future reference.
To qualify for MBBS/BSD courses, candidates (general) need to obtain minimum 50 % marks in the exam. The minimum marks for those belonging to reserved categories, including SC and ST is 40 % and 45 % for Persons with Disabilities (PwD).
