The Health Ministry on Wednesday said that National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for super speciality courses will be held in various cities on June 10, 2017.

photo:thehindu.com/"The examination being conducted by the National Board of Examinations, shall be held as a computer-based test and shall comprise of 200 multiple choice questions from the MD/MS curriculum followed at medical colleges in India duly prescribed /adopted by Medical Council of India with prior approval of the Health Ministry," said the statement.
According to the ministry, NEET-SS (Super Specialty) is a single window entrance examination for entry to DM/MCh/PDCC courses.
"No other examination either at state level or institutional level entrance examination conducted by any University /medical colleges /institutions shall be valid as per the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, with effect from 2017 admission session," the statement added. (IANS)
