Bhubaneswar: The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced NEET (UG) 2023 Results today evening. Odisha’s Swayam Shakti Tripathy secured an all-India rank (AIR) 8 with 715 marks. He is at Aakash Institute in Bhouma Nagar, Unit-4 here.

Likewise, Surya Pratap Mishra secured AIR 35 with 710 marks and Abhipsa Chowdhury secured AIR 63 and 16th position among girl candidates.

Around 55,866 candidates from Odisha appeared in the exam and 28,330 were able to qualify. However, 57,092 candidates had applied for the NEET exam from the State.

Worth mentioning, NTA conducted the Test for 20,87,462 candidates at 4,097 different centres located in 499 cities throughout the country including 14 cities outside India.

The Examination was conducted in 13 languages (Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu). The outside India centres were in Abu Dhabi, Bangkok, Colombo, Doha, Kathmandu, Kuala Lumpur, Lagos, Manama, Muscat, Riyadh, Sharjah, Singapore along with Dubai and Kuwait City.
