New Dharamsala for tourists in Odisha’s Puri soon

Bhubaneswar: A new Dharamsala for tourists, especially senior citizens will soon come up in pilgrim town of Puri as Odisha Cabinet gave its nod to the project, among 17 proposals.

The Dharamsala to be constructed at Baselisahi in Puri will proved to be a low-cost boarding and lodging facility for tourists, mainly senior citizens under Augmentation of Basic Amenities and Development of Heritage and Architecture (ABADHA) scheme.

The state Cabinet has approved the Turnkey Tender of lowest negotiated Turnkey bid of Shreejikrupa Projects Ltd amounting  to Rs 135.60 crore, said an official statement issued by the Works Department.

The construction work is targeted to be completed within a period of 24 months.
