New Motion gallery unveiled at Regional Science Centre in Odisha

Chief minister Naveen Patnaik today inaugurated a new Motion gallery at the Regional Science Centre (RSC) in the capital city of Odisha.

Speaking on the occasion, Patnaik urged the students to develop inquisitiveness and take interest in science.

“We have to excel in science and technology if we want to make India a leading nation in the 21st century”, he told the students.

Praising the effort of the RSC in helping the students to acquire a thorough grasp on science subjects and making them aware of the world of science, he hoped that the new Motion gallery would be immensely popular among the students and the people.

The chief minister also said that the state will have three new science centres at Jeypore, Keonjhar and Bargarh.

Among others, Director General, National Council of Science Museums, GS Rautela, School and Mass Education minister Debi Prasad Mishra, Higher Education and Science and Technology minister Pradip Panigrahi and director, Birla Industrial and Technical Museum, Kolkata, Sk Islam spoke on the occasion.
