New rates of ‘Mahaprasad’ at Odisha’s Srimandir soon

Puri: New rates of ‘Mahaprasad’ at Srimandir in Odisha’s Puri will be announced soon. A decision in this regard was taken at a meeting between Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) chief and members of Suara and Mahasuara Nijogs here today.

The rate chart of the ‘Mahaprasad’ will be displayed at the Ananda Bazar in the temple after fixation of price. It was also decided in the meeting to set up a grievance cell and help desk at the Ananda Bazar.

A discussion was also held over ‘Kotha Bhoga’ of the deities. After estimation of expenditure for ‘Kotha Bhoga’, a rate chart in this regard will be put up.

The cooking process of the ‘Kotha Bhoga’ will be monitored by ‘Deula Karana’ and Srimandir supervisor. This apart, entry of non-servitors to Ananda Bazar will be restricted.
