Newborn baby rescued from bushes in Odisha

Keonnhar: A newborn baby was rescued from bushes in Odisha’s Keonnhar district this morning.

According to reports, villagers heard the cries of a baby leading them to the bushes near the village pond in Manpur village under Turumunga police limits.

The villagers rescued the infant with the help of auxiliary nurse midwife (ANM) who called an ambulance. The baby boy was rushed to district headquarters hospital. As per sources, the baby is doing fine.
