Khordha: A newborn baby girl was found abandoned at a bush near a pond at Tankol village under Jankia police limits in Odisha's Khordha district this morning.

According to reports, locals first heard the infant crying inside the bush and then spotted the baby.

She was rescued and admitted to the Khordha district headquarters hospital by Childline members in an 108-ambulance.
